2008 -
The Hollywood Santa Parade traverses
down Hollywood Boulevard in the early evening, and there
she is: 18 year old Miss Tyana Hawker of Lancaster, California,
aboard her lovely Paso Fino Mare Lumbrera Del Divino (aka Diva)
riding with the "Broken Horn Ropers." Tyana is the 2008 Bakersfield
Stampede Days Rodeo Jr. Queen, and is beautifully clad in a custom
outfit made by her mother D.J. Hawker. Oh, yes, D.J. makes all of
Tyana's event costumes, and there are many!

This
parade is rich in history, and first began in 1928 on a very small
scale, and has undergone
several makeovers throughout its history.
It has evolved into a large production with celebrities, equestrian
units, marching bands, floats, and of course, Santa!
Tyana frequently rides her Paso Fino mare in parades all over Southern
California, and she has also been invited to ride with the "Broken
Horn Ropers" in the 2009 Rose Bowl Parade. The Hollywood Santa
Parade is schedule to be televised on Christmas Day 2008; so see your
